I have no enough number to support argument about bhp debt seniority etc but only my own personal number which can be incorrect. It should have gone lower 25t to 18t (thanks to debt payment) but ebitda has grown too much amazingly, telling people it is ALL RIGHT, dont worry folks. Well as much as I agree, that safe thesis should be within considerable amount of time where cash flow is being made and the authority controls inflation. The one i worry, they didnt warn us, how if there is a sudden death of very high uncontrollable inflation, out of control hit debt market? They keep telling it is transitory, dont worry folks, it is all good. What i mean is that eventhough io stays 200$ but if inflation is flash out of control, there might not be enough money being made in the short term. I believe all companies should maintain both debt and equities and can't terminate all debt. They should maintain debt and honour it well.
What are big shareholders behind screen play on their debt equity mixture with bhp? One thing i know, they dont want to lose in both of their debt and equity and that may cost us, equity holder only lolI believe that bhp will honour their debt well, refinance etc, through repurchase etc in which unfortunately may reduce bhp profit in short term for long term sake. However if bhp honour it well, one day it may save bhp when all equity holders run away like a chicken during crash lol
My suspicion last year when bhp chose to pay debt was a bit right on high inflation possibility on their debt but i concerned if it is so quickly hit their debt. Looking at current, i think they might be still manageable, well until next stop of yield decrease lolThen after that, we might see another possible bigger monster in making again, then here we go again, ... volatility.
Isnt life better challenging? rather than we just draw straight line of bhp price to go up, period.
I dont believe in transitory inflation theme, too many lies. I could be wrong for sure but I dont care to be wrong as long as it keeps me aware.
