one thing to note is that you take this with a grain of salt. Do you beleive BHP as it looks in FY24 mix of assets look exactly the same in FY28? And FY24 projections etc are being extrapolated to FY28 (as they stand now) to a certain degree. YEs they do look at future potential commodity price but no one has a exact forward look ahead. At once the inflation reduction act in US comes about along with infrastructure bill, the projections for all base commodities get re-rated.
