Several very good questions. I suspect the answers you seek would, by necessity, have to be generated in the USA. I suggest that one not hold ones breath for those answers and even if it transpired you would have info relative to "dancing around the whole truth". As hard as Annaliese works at it, one would believe (or I do ) that she is only told the parts and pieces they want her to know. You appear, to me at least, spot on in your appraisal that even with all the smoke and mirrors (moonshine, focus, terrebonne, LLOG, etc.) it gets the company no further ahead SP wise. Perhaps Miningnut, on a different blog, will enlighten us with the cost to the company, all in, of the total of the top ten salary packages; might drill a well or two with that...or three or four maybe.
