Can't fathom why someone would short this over all the far better short opportunities out there. Sure biotech can be a high return short due to the large movements (both up and down), but at the same time, that makes it incredibly risky. That's especially true here, where a lot of the downside is actually protected by exisiting revenue generating product lines, whilst looking at the upside the pipeline is enormous.
My conclusion is that shorters here must be risk-seeking gamblers as opposed to actual investors taking a research based approach, and therefore I relish the thought of them being burnt on this! Gamblers belong at the casino, they have no place in the stock market!!
