Totally agree that there is just daily "tinkering" going using some shorting/short covering all within the day (assuming ASIC is accurate in reporting 0 outstanding shorts for NEU this year so far).
The daily shorts reported by ASX show the daily shorting numbers are mostly at 5% of the turnover & below, with occasional days up around 10%, most recently 11/15/17/18/22 Feb.
It's always hard to guess what shorters are doing/thinking, but it's hard to imagine that the volumes are sufficient to be making much on just pure intra-day selling/buying. That in turn suggests perhaps continued quiet accumulation.....perhaps!
