The trading in NEU this year has gone from strange to mind boggling. It has ticked most boxes but has traded like a company in decline with seemingly no end to the slide. I’m sure there has been some profit taking along the way, shorting is a factor and I wholeheartedly agree with the lack of investor/media strategy. However there must be other bigger forces at play, none of us really know what they are but it is simply abnormal for a share price to behave like a dog when a company is kicking goals.
Personally, I’m trying to not pay attention to the daily action and leave this one firmly in the bottom drawer. A lot of stocks never reach analyst targets however the way NEU behaves is moronic.
