The thought crossed my mind, not cause I think he is doing a bad job but for the reasons you put forward - taking the company from $1b to $10b+ might require a change and different approach.
That was some time ago and before I read Jim Collin's book "Good to Great" - I was happy with JP to begin with but am more convinced after reading that book that backing him is absolutely the right call.
