Post tech wreck of 2000's Amazon went down by 90% before becoming the behemoth of today. That doesn't mean anyone failed. Market sentiment and momentum is a strange beast and leads to ridiculous valuations in small moments of time. It is Jon's job to deliver intrinsic shareholder value, which he is doing, I don't think it is his job to manipulate or manage the shareprice to manage nervous investors who aren't focused on the intrinsic value of the share being grown and the market 'weighing' that over time.
