Auction today was informative.
Early days saw a buy of 70k result in a match of $14.25 (up 29 cents on 4pm price). Closing match dropped it to $13.92 (down 4c on 4 pm price), a turnaround of 33 cents.
What goes on here? My version:
There was a buyer whose top was $14.25. That buyer opined that it would be sold into (naturally). Who were the sellers? Just normal unfettered trading, or a coalition owning a 'war-chest' of shares whose mission is to suppress?
Hoping, but not knowing, it was the latter.
