My post is in a couple of parts….
(a) Let’s say that our BOD decided to quietly enter the market and buy up (say) 1 million shares … then they announce that they have already done this and they will now move to cancel these newly purchased shares. My question is:--- can they do this within their existing set of rules governing what they can and cannot do, or do shareholders have to vote on it? I think that if this is possible it might really put the frighteners on the short-sellers and cut out a lot of this nonsense that we are seeing at the moment.
And
(b) For general information because I had not previously seen this aspect discussed here ….. Just to confirm that it was me that asked the question in Jon’s presentation yesterday about the undisclosed diseases being investigated in the lab at present.
Assuming we get some good results, whether or not the intention is to move to phase 2 clinical trials on these and if so how much it would cost for (say) 3 new phase 2 trials … his answer was “yes” and $10 million each. Just so we know ….

My time as a shareholder of Neuren dates back to the year when I went to the AGM in Sydney in Australia Square … at that time the main game for us was the TBI trials being paid for by the American military. The next year after that Jon joined us and the AGM moved to Melbourne.
