It seems so, albeit a smaller sample size. Hard to know if there's some covering starting to occur. However the data from the 16th just released and shows a 317k~shares were covered on that day. In the past there has been some covering before it ramped up again, but let's hope this time is different
I think just by being included in the ASX 200 or 300 means we are subjected to a lot more liquidity makers in the market which are algorithm driven. It is one of those things that makes stock perform to the extremes. Chart is bad, momentum bad, stock is punished more than it should. Some on the other side where momentum stocks keep posting good results and their charts are great until there's a slight miss and things get crushed when they shouldn't have run so hard in the first place.
