We have a "Free Trade" agreement with the US and it is mostly fair so our pollies should be able to argue that the status quo has served both sides very well.... especially since President trump sees Trade surplus with us which is rare for the Americans. Wish I could say the Labour party can sell this since Kevin Rudd is our ambassador and is not well liked which makes things harder.
Worst case, we just setup manufacturing in the US which is not a bad eventuality, just irritating if we don't need that expense. Couldn't say without hearing from the company.
