To all my fellow holders,
I am trying to give you all the picture of how the dirtiest collaborations between the potential suitor and international BEOT save them huge $$$ in the TO event by suppressing the SP (aka Mcap). For easy calculation, in this example, I round up total NEU share to 100millions. The BP suitor thinks the knockout TO that NEU will accept is 8 times of Mcap at the offer day.

Case 1 - if they let the SP as per market and keep going up.
in this scenario NEU SP keeps going up to $30 per share. Hence Mcap is 3 billion AUD. For knock out TO price is 8x3 = 24 billion, SP is $240 per share.

Case 2 - The big BP calls their dirtiest BEOT and say, "guys I want you to suppress NEU SP to just $15 AUD, until we tell you to stop and make the TO". This $15 per share so total Mcap is 1,5 billion AUD. tell us whatever fees you want us to pay you, and we will allocate $300 million for you to short them".
The BEOT replies "Yes off course thanks for the offer and deal". We will make sure the MC is only about 1,5 billion.
So, the Big BP then offers NEU BOD TO with Mcap 1,5 billion x 8 times = 12 billion AUD.
Assume it is successful then the big BP has saved the cost for TO = 24 billion - 12 billion = 12 billion...
We can see why this practice is now so common because they save 50% of the TO price.
Now, for the BEOT they are very rich as they can ask fee say 100million, plus they can buy the shares when it is low for themselves using this $$$ and they know their master BP told them the TO. They get huge hundreds of millions.
