Hi Htae, you seem to know quite a bit about the inside machinations of firms like UBS and others which are both brokerage houses and investment firms.
I’m not going to question the legalities of my question but is it actually possible that apart from buying/selling and advising as such for their clients that the company also acts for themselves in their own investment capacities; ie buy/sell in their own right for themselves?
A large proportion as such could be done via high frequency ago trading- yes/no?
I sure wish for the old days when you actually received physical share certificates when you bought and had to return it on sale, call me old fashioned, OK.
