Will Trump accept that offer? I doubt it. The EU has always had high barriers to protect their farmers. That’s why they use the word ‘industrial’. So they will take as many Cadillacs as people will buy. As long as the US keeps buying B$’s worth of Mercs , Audis, BMW’s , VW’s and Porsche’s.
Long way to go on this debate. EU not taking the fight seriously so far! Trump might decide to leave NATO. That will get them negotiating.
In the meantime 50 other countries are doing deals. We’ll have to drop all of our tariffs, laws against freedom of speach and increase military spending.
Although 10% is cheap. If US had announced a 10% GST , it would be on the back page of the paper.
I don’t see this as a financial crisis. This is a market adjustment in a heated market. Down from 30X earning to 15X earnings . A healthy correction that’s been coming for a while.
Bargain hunters will come out looking for quality companies that are way oversold.
NEU traded 3M shares yesterday which highlighted just how much demand there was for cheap NEU shares.
