I’ve been round the world scoping out good possibilities. There are some great options. But I’ve got a long list of requirements. I’ve been to some unusual places . Turkey, Greece, Malta, Spain, France, Caribbean, South America, Thailand , Bali. Next up another look at Greece and the UAE, (Fujairah)Oman(Muscat).
Huge list of options. Its really a matter of extracting oneself from the Australian Tax System.Particulary important before the rules change as the countries debt levels rise to unsustainable levels.
There are other offbeat East European countries that also might work well. The best strategy is too have several passports, live wherever the seasons are best. Invest and bank in a different country. Use Starlink Mobile which is coming out in the US shortly. And pay tax where you get treated the best.
These days it’s easy to invest globally from anywhere. Not much will change in my life except I’ll no longer pay 70c in every dollar to these m9ney wasters. ( and going up) . Middle East is 9. % with better health care than here.
By then NEU will be sold off And the cash will be in the bank.
