All fair points @good1234 but what is the value in the daily repetition of teeth gnashing (and finger pointing) whenever we dare to go down?
The fact is NEU rose 68% with minimal news (confirmation of endpoints) in about 50 days.
That would encourage some selling in most stocks (just as JM12 alluded to) . $14 area also was bound to show resistance given all the previous trading in this area. No doubt many people that bought at $14 in Feb-Mar only to see the value fall ~40% might have been feeling relieved to sell at $14 again. Things can't go up in straight lines, so a pullback was inevitable and $14 made sense.
Patience is going to be required to achieve full value unless we are 'lucky' to get a reasonable takeover offer sooner rather than later. If you don't have another couple of years timeframe minimum, than this might not be the right stock for you anymore. As a fellow NEU dodecadarian+ I know you already sit on considerable profits, despite being somewhat less than the market valued us at in Dec 23.
