    Bouncing - in my post history somewhere - I was enquiring about the US health system after learning about the $100k drug price. Let that be some sort of evidence that everything I state here is true. My comments here are not meant to start a flamewar, as morality is subjective. I just have a suspicion that maybe you missed the boat, because my decision to invest and hold NEU was made AFTER I had to wade through this exact issue you have raised. When did you realise these were the sorts of prices these sorts of drugs cost? Why come here now? So I have taken this time to write this out, as this is such an important issue to me and it is disappointing if you are pretending.

    You see I am highly spiritual and therefore will do everything I can to leave this earth as honest as possible, especially when it comes to matters of wealth and other individuals' health. I initially got involved in the ASX solely for the purpose of MMJ, hence my HC name. When I was informed Packer was a major investor in one of my stocks and major investing companies behind my stocks had a long-term vision within Australia to turn medical into recreational, I left the MMJ industry that day. All my stocks, no matter the loss/gain. Even though I personally have smoked it before and could not care less what others do in their personal lives, I invested for the medical potential, not the recreational, nor did I really want to be involved with money from hopelessly addicted gamblers.

    I also had interest to invest in the VR industry. Once I was informed that the VR industry is associated with military equipment, I never invested in anything VR, even though I was really confident it would take off. My personal choice, even though I was quite disappointed I could not get involved. That is about it for my serious long-term ASX history besides a few attempts at day trading randomly for fun, hoping for the lottery here and there.

    Now do you think I would want my money in the big scary notorious pharmaceutical industry? Can you imagine the process it took for me to comfortably invest in NEU? The only reason I eventually decided to was because I was almost 100% certain NEU would be where it is today. I held a family meeting over this very issue you are raising, and after much deliberation it came down to two decisions;
    1) leave that money for other investors or 2) help my family and me pay off debts to become free from banks controlling our lives, and give money in the form of charity back to the Retts community directly, money I otherwise would not of had. This is all besides the major fact that without investing money in the first place, the medicine would cease to exist. It then became an easy and logical decision.

    This is how the world works. The clothes you are wearing right now was probably put together by children locked away in factories. Capitalism was built off the backs of colonialism. You either adapt and try change it if you care, or you become a part of what comes out the other side of the grinder.

    Within Australia's healthcare system, children's families wont be forking out $100k per year for their medicine. The US healthcare system also won't be charging families $100k per year, regardless, it is not our fault that internal US politics has destroyed their healthcare system. In fact right now it is still investor against investor, which is why your concern is strange. Once drug sales actually occur dependent upon the FDA decision then your complaint makes more sense. Right now we aren't even there, investors are carrying all the risk and struggling against each other.

    Individuals here are in obviously a good mood and are enjoying talking hypotheticals on a stock market forum. What did you expect to see?
    I am unsure if you are genuinely offended, but in the case that you actually genuinely really are- I can assure you that investors that align with your morals exist, and investors that do not, also exist. I am also unsure if you are among those who maybe missed the boat and are therefore genuinely upset and envious. Envy is an extremely common human emotion, much more common than the form of care about other people you are showing in your multiple posts right now.

    I work in the healthcare industry. I have seen doctors, nurses and specialists from all ages and levels of experience behind the scenes. I have also seen different types of people and families, from all across the board. I think I may have a better grasp at the general nature of humanity and their genuine care for strangers and each other as a whole than you think. If I was to put all my eggs in one basket and wager a bet, I think you have genuinely missed the boat with NEU and you are now expressing your frustration by trying to ruin everyone's mood through the "morality of making money from the healthcare industry" card. A very commonly chosen card.

    If your care is pure and actually authentic, then you are a very rare individual and must have a very lucky family and friends. Obviously only you know the truth. It is possible to find someone as caring and moral as you are purporting to be, to take the time and come post multiple times trying to impose guilt, but it is highly improbable without an underlying motive especially when you, also, are an investor in the stock market, know the game, and are a member of hotcopper, an online internet stock market forum.
