I have created a handy chart so I could work out what was going on with the different trials at different locations and when a extension trial was due to be commenced. This gave me some comfort of what was going on with the necessary lack of information from the trial.

Notes about the chart. Blue is where here the lavender (first trial) has been completed and Lilac (2nd trial) has been completed and the Third Trial (12 month extension) has been commenced.
Green is where the lavender (first trial) has been completed and Lilac (2nd trial) has been commenced.
Light yellow is where only the first trial has been commenced. One location I have noted in blue as a centre in the same state (Ohio) has started the 2nd and third trial.
Bright yellow dates indicate a 2nd or third trial should have started by now. Note that I don't really have much faith in the updating of details on clinic trials being timely.
Note that Vanderbilt University Medical Centre started only a Lavender trial. It was then used for the Paediatric study started 9/9/2021.
Fun facts, average time between lavender start and lilac start is 140 days, and average time between lilac start and third trial start is 470 days.

This provides some context that the trial participants are happy to continue into the second and third trial, though we don't have a real idea of how patients are actually responding.
