For me, there is another comforting factor - I call it common sense - lots of psycho games going on with this one - has been for long, long while now.
The above is not to say it is a shoe-in, but (IMO) it is (and has been for yonks) a worthwhile risk/reward thingo.
[The above is leaving aside the emotive aspect (the most important) that our tech could be instrumental in ameloriating the unfair consequences of many debilitating neurological conditions within the autism spectrum. That trumps (great to use that word in a positive sense) agenda driven deceit in attempts to accumulate $$$$'s.]
