My 2c is that small / med cap spec stocks are a leading indicator of wider economic slowdown. every stock that i have few buyers and people seemingly looking for any reason to sell and stay in cash. if the mortgage is about to become variable and cash flow for food, school fees, utilities is about to get squeezed, most won't be on the lookout for new small cap investments esp if the ones they own atm are getting pummeled by the lack of liquidity.
disappointed, but not surprised buying pressure has dried up. it has in every sector.
