I posted this a little while ago. It took just over 5 weeks for NEU to receive the previous milestone payment after it was achieved. I have no idea if all. the milestone payments will follow this particular pattern but, if so, we can expect the next one (US$40 million) to hit our coffers around 25 May.
Having said that, and without wanting to split hairs, I was just going over NEU’s announcements and wonder if the milestone payment is triggered on launch date (18 May 2023) or first commercial sale in the US (is this the date when the first insurance company/payor approves coverage and the first patient buys the first bottle of Daybue?)
There is no doubt that Neu has earned the milestone payment, as they made an announcement to this effect on 18 May, it’s more about the timing of the milestone payment.
