Hotcongo, is it a matter of funds placing buy orders at higher and higher prices until a seller bites? If all sellers have a common understanding that this stock is worth more, then the buyers will just have to upbid to gain a holding?
I'm genuinely asking because I've seen a few posts now about an auction after close, and I'm literally imagining entities outbidding each other.
