Because in the short term the market is a sentiment (voting) machine, long term a weighing machine.
There are literally hundreds of stocks on the ASX that could be considered as trading under 'fair' value. That's how you make (more) money but not much point in questioning why something is undervalued in the short term as the reasons are myriad and often have little to do with the company performance itself.
