It dosn't make logical sense as to why Acadia didn't pitch a offer prior to results, nor why their offer pitched (first right of refusal) for ROW wasn't able to be negotiated to agreed terms by Acadia and Neuren back then, both deals could have been done at a discount to today.
Even today they have $500m US in cash, at a guess they could probably stitch up ROW for likely $200m AUD upfront and 50/50 royalties perhaps?
Lot cheaper than lobbing a TO for $1-$2B, they get 85% royalties for US and 50% ROW
I get it seems obvious, but based on the above I don't think Acadia is our partner beyond US Trof deal
I am however comfortable that Neu are trying to get the best deal.
