Neu management would be well aware of of M&A going on in the industry, its delusional to think they would be letting our assets/pipeline go for anything less than what the market is paying or they are worth based on other deals getting done.
Based on this deal with comparisons done on Trof/Daybue, Neu management have always said 2591 is x5 the value of Trof, if Reata/Skyclarys is worth $7.3bn US then 2591 in 4 indications + scope for many more indications is clearly potentially worth far more.
Its a great example of how valuable our pipe line is, and how easy a big pharma will drop $7.3bn US or $10-$11bn AUD for something they want.
I think Acadia are in the box seat obviously, however if 2591 is the goods, there is a chance they don't even have the fire power even with Baker bros
