The ASX shorting report for Friday shows 1.379m new shorts (out of turnover of around 8.3m). We won't know until ASIC's nett shorts report later in the week for last Friday to ascertain how that has impacted the overall shorting position on NEU (ie after whatever short covering there may also have been on Friday).
