There is 7500 retts patients on the register but the patient population is likely closer to 9000-10,000 patients.
At $375,000 per year treatment, if my maths is correct (which it is), only 2,666 patients need to be treated for a full CY to hit $1,000,000,000 in sales.
Anyone think only 1 in 5 parents who’s kids have retts will try and get their child on the treatment? The answer is No.
$2,000,000,000 in sales is likely let alone $1,000,000,000. Even after factoring in a 20-25% discontinuation rate.
