I still think a 75-100% premium from the current price is most likely ($42-48 today) It could be higher however it’s not something I would expect though very happy to be pleasantly surprised. It’s also possible a potential acquirer will try to low ball an offer with say a 30-50% premium as this would be the normal expectation for an ASX stock. I would expect John would bat that away pretty quickly though.
If the SP moves up to say $30 over the next few months then my expectations will increase accordingly (say $50-60). A takeover at that level in 2024 would be an outstanding result for shareholders imo.
While I find many of the price predictions on some of the threads ridiculously over the top I agree that if Neuren continues to tick all the boxes and manages to get a number of successful P3 trials completed, and more P2 trials in new indications underway (and it’s a 3-5 years away and probably $1b in capital) then those predictions are probably not over the top at all BUT they are several years away.
