It's been stated here many times so I wish you would stop repeating the fallacy that patients will somehow definitely miss out if NEU does not get taken over by BP. There are lots of options (licensing for one) to ensure patients will receive benefits of 2591 just as quickly as if it was bought by a BP.
It is also clear that being bought out by a BP DOES NOT guarantee quick development in all our possible indications because companies delay development of indications all the time and a single company resources are still finite in both money and people, so it is not the development panacea you are claiming.
