I'm long NEU and in it for the long haul..
But to my naïve mind, surely a trial such as this is it would be virtually impossible to keep the results contained. Surely by now a few people know how the result is going to fall? If say a hedge fund etc has done the right digging and someone has slipped up, that marginal seller/shorter is all that is needed here.
If I knew the result, there is no way I'm telling other parties. So 1/2 parties in the know is all you need here to generate this kind of price action. Slow and steady, nothing outsized to alert the regulator and bide your time. Has short interest changed much?
Perhaps I am way off base (can anyone explain how trial data is handled?). Thoughts?
