I'm unsure where this information has come from @seanc. As far as I'm aware, NEU has retained Jefferies as a consultant, but to "negotiate offers" and "initiate discussions"? Jefferies may provide a filter function and advice to the Board, but I doubt it will initiate nor negotiate.
I too was at the presentation in Melbourne.
