I have owned Nvidia for some time. My most recent purchase was in 2018. I felt like a genius reducing my holding on the way up, thinking I'd buy those shares back later. Hint: I never did, and I left a 6-figure amount on the table as a result. It is often selling the good companies that hurts investment performance over the long time, the mistakes I have made buying terrible companies are blips in comparison.
Even after selling a lot on the way, it has ended up being my best ever individual stock performer. Even more than Neuren which I am 15 bags up on (on my original parcels) - not my most recent ones.
