Neuren have just reported a $157M after tax profit for 2023 and this results in an EPS [earnings per share] number of $1.23 per share This stat is simply obtained by dividing a companys net profit by the number of shares on issue.By way of comparison Coles [COL] has an EPS of 78c per share and a similar share price to NEU.
During Acadias latest quarterly presentation the whole conversation resolved around Daybue etc earnings and revenues but not one mention of the word profit by management or analysts.
The Acadia EPS number in their financials stats is minus 0.91c per share. The lack of focus on profit generation may help explain why Acadias share price was not materially affected by the recent shorters report.
