It's not quite accurate that democratic/capitalist system has delivered virtually all the most important innovations/technology we have today. Most, (I believe 80+%), is due to Govt spending/funding. The Internet (US military) for an example, the push to miniaturize computers was largely due the USAF/Nasa space race spending. Even Neuren was spun out of a publicly funded Uni to commercialise their research.
Regardless, hopefully when Neuren either takes 2591 through to FDA approval for many conditions or gets taken over, I'll be looking forward to my biggest worry being whether to take the Aventador or the Bentley GT down to the shops.
