there was an air of superabundant prosperity coming through the CVI thread ,the moderators even talked about banning the thread, for fear of negative postings!
it set many up for disappointment
(the pioneers are dropping off according to their personal situations, as did some early settlers due to drought, supplies shortages and other rough patches)

since the market fall and CVI lows and the realisation of lots of 'missed' profits, there is an air of pessimism and doubt (abandoning the farm), and soul-searching frankness,(land grants now being issued to encourage new settlers) so.......

get em when they chuck em out
