With the recent crossing of over 2m shares (18/4) we have seen a consolidtion of the price from day to day. I wouldn't be surprised to find that the parcel was a sell out by Alan Birchmore, a check of the top twenty shareholders when it is updated will tell the tale.
I would not be surprised to find out that the buyer of these shares is the buyer in the market these past few days.
On my charting program I have a breakout figure when UMC will forge ahead at a price of $1.45.
This price should be reached perhaps by the end of next week.
UMC is a winner.
