My take is the world's miltaries are preoccupied with Ukraine and that recession conditions haven't hit countries yet to drive them to save costs in law enforcement training, which this VR stuff would provide. We don't have enough crime in Australia to drive every police force to buy this gear pronto and I guess there are learning curve challenges for an acceptable enough product in US, which should be jumping at this stuff to avoid further wrongful shootings etc. The concept seems sound. I just hope they are able to get some successful inroads. What do we want? Deterrance against war and crime by having well prepared militaries/law enforcement, ideally done affordably.
