Not really so amazing. A few days ago it was UMC getting smashed and THX holding firm. They are two different markets so from day to day will not necessarily act in unison.
Wednesday I picked up 50K UMC at $1.50, maybe tomorrow I could pick up some THX at 26c. I can only hope!
These markets can continue for months. We can all see that prices are starting to be dramatically discounted compared to the underlying value of stocks. UMC and THX are good examples. Have a look at WSA the other day. A huge upgrade and the SP was down at the end of the day - crazy but reality.
Come the turnaround (which will happen), those buying now at the firesale prices will be happiest.
