With the ban on short selling and the actions of the US Government we are seeing some interest returning to the markets. While one swallow does not a summer make, it is a welcome change to recent experiences.
Small speculative companies like Falcon may not benefit for awhile as confidence is severely shaken. However it does have a story to tell and is not without its attractions.
Drilling at Saxby is underway with results expected in the next couple of months. As I have mentioned previously, it is early days but it is not without prospects. Any sort of positive show here will see a significant lift in the share price fronm the current very depressed levels.
And what is happening at Collurabbie?
Are we seeing renewed interest from BHPB? I suspect 2009 will see some welcome moves here to really test this very prospective area. An early announcement from BHPB of its intentions here would be very welcome.
Given the change in market sentiment I suspect the worst is over for Falcon's share price.
