Lithium stocks are taking a pounding, and short-sellers are capitalizing on the moment. Expect to see a few more downramping trolls on our forum. This might be short lived or it might extend, though, I doubt it. Some of this pressure arises from global economic shifts and resistance from the fossil fuel industry against the tide of EV adoption. The more speculative the stock, the steeper the plunge. WC8, with its assays still pending, finds itself teetering on the brink. Investors who got in below 15c are likely to stand their ground, particularly if they've already cashed in with profits north of 40c. However, for those who took the plunge post-15c, justifying their commitment could become a test of nerves.

The number 25c looms large as a potential support level. Should WC8 stabilize around this figure, prospects of a rally to the 30s appear promising, especially on the back of favorable assays and the eventual wrap-up of the acquisition, notwithstanding the potential dilution from the issuance of new shares. Yet, if it falters and slips below this threshold, we might see a retraction to the mid-teens.

I’m invested in WC8 for the long-term perspective and am willing to wait until mid-2024 before considering taking profits, unless unforeseen negative events such as unsatisfactory assays or poor board decisions arise. The upcoming New Metals Conference, with presentations by Joe Lowery and WC8, will be crucial in determining the stock's direction. Good luck to all.
