That's not a typo.
I had too much to lose on what I would now call a 50/50.
My main reason for selling was the possibility for the copper price to drop to the $7,000-$7,500 range due to Trump and the more than likely U.S. recession.
Have a look at the copper price charts around the time of COVID. Not pretty and at that price I doubt Alara will be able to manage to pay it's creditors.
Meaning Sohar could possibly end up with the mine.

Alara management simply cannot be trusted to look after the interests of shareholders. This has been proven via the Takeover Panel findings.They are going to raise around $8.5 million so this will just about double the shares on issue at this low share price.
By the time the Chinese filter presses are actually in use it would be around 18 months since they were first aware of the issue. That's either gross incompetence or sabotage in my opinion.
Either way the income from any production from the mine is not guaranteed to be distributed to Alara.
Best to ask management if this is the case due to the joint venture having $172 million in total debt according to the last 6 monthly report.

I do hope all goes well for shareholders.
Very disappointing to sell out after all these years but in my case it was just too much to risk losing.
