on the basis that a parcel included in the block of shares was not already voted, a block of 87.1m shares would guarantee an outcome at the last AGM in November 2023.
if a parcel of the block had been voted, the required number of shares to guarantee a particular outcome would be LESS than 87.1m.
where a major shareholder not part of the block of shares must legally abstain from voting, the number of shares required to guarantee a vote will be LESS than otherwise would be the case.
