What a woeful share price! When I first saw the terms of the last placement I said to myself we will go to 31 cents or thereabouts, not sure I really believed it but that's what usually happens on an issue. Well here we are at 33ish, its done it! Now for the future. I thought the announcement that went with the placement was terrific, binding agreements with Glencore, swallowing another 85,000 tons through the acquisition of Trekalano taking us to 400,000 cu or equivalent and also having plenty of money going forward. Cant help but think we are on track to circa 500,000 tons copper equivalent at the next quarter update of MRE with a potential mining rate of 25,000 - 30,000 tons pa. When I do those sums at a conservative $10,000 aust per ton price that's $250,000,000 in sales pa for the end product. Our slice of that will be substantial. Heaven help if the price of copper is higher which I suspect it will be in 2026/2027. What I am really trying to say is the upside over the next couple of years is enormous. Not many dominoes have to fall in place for this to happen, BIG TIME, and we may well end up in the clutched of some bigger company at a multiple to current prices.
