Hi all.
What everyone is forgetting is the the share price is the market cap divided by the number of shares on issue. The actual share price is irrelevant. Therefore to get back into the 50’s the valuation would have to be higher as the share price multiplied by the number of shares equals the market cap. Even if the market cap recovers to where it was before the cap raise the share price will still be lower than before. They have also baked another cap raise if the options trigger in the 50’s meaning further dilution, The broker has essentially determined that the market over valued the company as the raise was significantly less than the share price before the cap raise, plus dilution. To say the loss is only realised if an exit is taken is codswallop too as the capital could have been in a quality company rising in price, not a company that is continually falling. I for one also bought into the fact AF stated that the ATM was unlikely needed let alone a cap raise before break even, which was also another deadline missed as mentioned in previous webinars, which was mentioned to be breakeven in November ‘24.
