Riv39 with all due respect, I think we as investors listen to too many analysts, especially the ones that get quoted in the media.

The report itself carried a lot 'if's and not a lot of fact. I am assuming Macquarie a recommending clients sell NCM for another gold miner, all IMO, maybe FNT,lol.

From the AFR:
Macquarie said: “If we were to see a combination of capex inflationary pressure, a weakening gold price and/or further operational weakness, coupled with a desire to maintain a BBB+ rating, it might result in a capital raising. That said, we would note that the company has reiterated that an equity raising is not on the agenda.”

Note the last sentence, the only bit of fact in that paragraph.

Still happy to have NCM as a shareholder and IMO very soon a JV partner.
