I attended the AGM today, & am convinced that judging the new management by events that were prior to their tenure will produce a faulty evaluation of the corporate potential.

Alan Stockdale did not become Chairman until Q1 this calendar year.
John Dubois joined in May, 2006.

It is hard to blame either of these for decisions taken last year, when corporate strategy was driven by a long standing director, and the Chairman and ex CEO.

Alan Stockdale clearly positioned last year's financial write offs as clearing the decks from the "Venture Capital" focus of prior management.

The current management needs to be judged on their strategies - of increasing channels to market, of charging maintenance fees for installed product & funding R&D from this stream, on their software consulting business growth, and on delivering their forecast profit for the year.

It's reasonable to be cautious (one investor spoke of the need to deliver results before rewarding management), but the team is new, and the approach is also very different from the prior team.
