if you eat too many chocolate éclairs you will eventually get sick of them, or they will make you sick, or both.

aside from that, none of us will find lasting peace and true happiness in the external, whether it be a new wife, a new house, car, ski trips to aspen, apartment overlooking the grand canal in venice, etc etc. there may be a temporary buzz from the new experience, but that won't last, and when it goes, the same old sense of dissatisfaction emerges.

there is an answer to this dilemma, but only the truly brave will find it and pursue it with all their heart and sole. for the rest, well, you know the routine.
