I have recently retired and have a reasonable number of FMG shares outside my self funded super scheme which I purchased many years ago. I am trying to work if I should become a share trader with the shares outside the SFSC and the different tax applicable to sole traders. Looked at ATO website but none the wiser. Any share traders out there that can shed some light on the tax subject.
