Been lurking here on HC for a few months but starting to participate more as my interest and experience slowing grows. Everyone starts somewhere. I still count myself as a newbie and am desperate for further knowledge and experience (the good, the bad & the ugly).
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any classes available in Victoria for those of us who are interested in learning more about the fundamentals of trading as well as accumulating experience. I have looked but so far am not even sure what i'm looking for. Do Professional Brokers/Traders study a specific course or do they just fall into that line of work?
I'm also looking for good books to read on the Trading subjects, mainly Shares and Options for now, but knowledge is knowledge. I saw that there is a "Trading For Dummies" available, anyone read?
